About
Julie (Jr-Shiuan) Yang, PhD has 15+ years of life sciences experience across investing, biotech, and academia. She joined Leaps by Bayer as Senior Director, Venture Investments in May 2023. Prior to this, she was Vice President at Bain Capital Life Sciences, where she focused on evaluating early-to-mid stage companies developing therapeutics across modalities and indications. She was a drug developer for the cardiovascular and rare disease programs at Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, Inc. She earned her PhD in molecular biology and biochemistry at Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences, and her MBA from INSEAD.
